تعتبر التحويلات المالية للمهاجرين المغاربة, رافدا مهما من روافد الاقتصاد الوطني, وهي ظاهرة ليست بالجديدة، إنما لها امتداد تاريخي, وقد عرفت تطورا ملحوظا في حجمها. رغم تذبذبها في بعض الحالات والفترات الزمنية. وقد ساهمت التحولات التي شهدتها حركة الهجرة الدولية منذ مرحلة الاستقلال إلى اليوم, في تحفيز دينامية هجرة المغاربة نحو الدول الأوربية. وقد ترتب عنها زيادة هائلة في حجم التحويلات المالية للمهاجرين، ويرجع ذلك أولا إلى الاهتمام الذي أولاه المغرب لهذه التحويلات. إذن: من خلال هذا المقال سنحاول إبراز أهمية التحويلات المالية للمهاجرين الدوليين بمجال دائرة أكنول لما لها من تأثير مباشرة على الدخل العائلي ومن تغير هيكل الإنفاق الأسري، مما يزيد من الإنتاجية وخلق مناصب عمل لأفراد عائلة المهاجرين.
