سعيت من خلال هذه الورقة البحثية للخوض في محددات الابعاد الثقافية للمحتوى الإعلامي الانكلوسكسوني الناطق بالعربية، وإبراز مدى تأثير مرجعيته اللغوية الأصل في إنتاج محتوى ثقافي معرب، من خلال تسليط الضوء على الجدلية القائمة بين اللغة والثقافة. إذ لا يمكن تصور هوية ثقافية دون حضور للغة، ليست فقط من منطلق اعتبارها أداة للتخاطب والتواصل، وإنما أيضا لما تحمله من رموز لسانية واجتماعية ونفسية وتاريخية يصعب فصلها عن النسيج الثقافي لجماعة بشرية ما، خاصة وأن هذا المحتوى الإعلامي فرض نفسه في المنطقة العربية من خلال اعتبارات تاريخية وجيوسياسية طبعت العلاقة بين الثقافتين الانكلوسكسونية والعربية.
