يتناول هذا المقال دور الاستعارة في بناء الدلالات القرآنية، وإسهامها في تحقيق إعجازه. بحيث ينطلق من فرضية مفادها: أن الاستعارة ليست مجرد وسيلة للتزيين فقط، بل هي آلية لإنتاج المعنى، وتجسيد المقاصد، وتعميق الأثر في المتلقي. وهو يكشف عن أنواع الدلالات في هذا الخطاب، ويبين صلتها ببناء الصورة البيانية، كما يفسر الدواعي الدلالية التي جعلت من الاستعارة أداةً متميزة في التعبير القرآني، وما تفضي إليه من أبعاد، تكشف عن وجه بارز من وجوه الإعجاز الدلالي الذي يتفرد به الخطاب القرآني.
