تتناول هذه الورقة العلمية التعريف بالشيخ أبي حامد محمد المكي البطاوري الرباطي (1355ه/1936م)، وعصره، وتكوينه العلمي، وترصد أبرز آرائه العقدية، وانسجامها في الجملة مع أصول المدرسة الأشعرية. وتكشف الدراسة عن عناية الشيخ بتنزيه الله تعالى، وإثبات الخصائص والمعجزات النبوية، وتقرير مسائل الغيب؛ وفق المنهج الكلامي الأشعري. كما تستقرئ عنايته بتعظيم النبي ﷺ وآل البيت وصحابته، وتنقية الممارسات الدينية من الخرافات والإسرائيليات. وتخلص الورقة إلى بيان مكانة الشيخ العلمية، وإسهامه المتميز في ترسيخ العقيدة الأشعرية وتأصيلها في التراث العقدي المغربي.
