يسعى الدرس البلاغي الحديث إلى تجاوز الطابع التقليدي القائم على حفظ المصطلحات والقواعد، ليتحول إلى أداة فاعلة في بناء التنمية المجتمعية. فالبلاغة لم تعد مقتصرة على دراسة الصور البيانية والمحسنات البديعية، بل أضحت وسيلة لتنمية مهارات التواصل والإقناع والتفكير النقدي لدى المتعلمين. فمن خلال تحليل الخطابات والنصوص المختلفة، يكتسب الفرد القدرة على فهم الرسائل الإعلامية والثقافية وتمييز أساليب التأثير والتوجيه، مما يعزز وعيه الفكري والاجتماعي. كما يساهم الدرس البلاغي في ترسيخ القيم الإنسانية، مثل الحوار والتسامح واحترام الآخر، إضافة إلى دوره في تنمية الذوق اللغوي والإبداع الأدبي والمحافظة على اللغة العربية. ولذلك فإن تجديد تدريس البلاغة وربطها بقضايا المجتمع المعاصرة واعتماد أساليب تعليمية تفاعلية، خطوة أساسية نحو إعداد مواطن واع وقادر على المشاركة الإيجابية في تنمية مجتمعه ثقافيا وفكريا وتواصليا.
