يعالج هذا البحث التحولات التاريخية التي عرفها اللباس المغربي ودوره في التعبير عن الهوية الثقافية المغربية. وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المقاربة التاريخية للوقوف على أبرز المحطات التي أثرت في اللباس التاريخي؛ ثم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي متخذين من طلبة ماستر التواصل والثقافة الرقمية عينة بحث. وقد أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن اللباس التقليدي المغربي يحظى بمكانة رمزية مهمة في المخيال المغربي، رغم تراجع حضوره في الحياة اليومية واقتصاره على المناسبات الدينية والاجتماعية. كما بينت الدراسة أن اللباس التقليدي لا يقف عند هذه النقطة بل يؤدي وظائف ثقافية وتواصلية، الأمر الذي يجعله أحد أبرز الرموز الدالة على الهوية الثقافية المغربية.
